At DEV4U, we are committed to providing high-quality educational content that helps developers build and ship real products. We stand behind the value of our courses and community. However, we understand that sometimes things do not work out as planned. This Refund Policy outlines when and how you can request a refund for your DEV4U subscription or purchase.
30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for all new subscriptions and one-time purchases. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you can request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase date. No questions asked. This gives you plenty of time to explore our courses and community risk-free.
To request a refund under our 30-day guarantee, simply contact our support team at support@dev4u.io with your account email and order details. We will process your refund within 5-7 business days, and the funds will be returned to your original payment method.
Annual Subscription Refunds
For annual subscriptions, you can request a full refund within the first 30 days of your subscription start date. After 30 days, annual subscriptions can be cancelled but are not eligible for a prorated refund unless required by applicable law. When you cancel an annual subscription, you will continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.
If you purchased an annual subscription at a discounted rate and request a refund after the 30-day period, the refund amount will be calculated based on the monthly rate for the months you have used, and the discount will be voided. This ensures fair pricing for users who commit to annual plans but change their minds.
Monthly Subscription Refunds
Monthly subscriptions are billed in advance each month. You can cancel your monthly subscription at any time, and you will continue to have access until the end of your current billing period. Monthly subscriptions are not eligible for refunds for the current billing period once payment has been processed, except within the first 30 days of your initial subscription.
If you forget to cancel before your renewal date and are charged for another month, you may request a refund within 7 days of the renewal charge if you have not accessed any content during that new billing period. This is our "oops" protection policy.
Team and Enterprise Refunds
Team and enterprise subscriptions have different refund terms based on the contract agreement. Generally, team subscriptions follow the same 30-day guarantee for new subscriptions. Enterprise contracts may have custom refund terms outlined in the Master Service Agreement.
For team plans, the team administrator can request refunds on behalf of team members. If a team member leaves the company, the seat can be transferred to another team member or the prorated amount can be refunded at the administrator's request.
Exceptions and Special Circumstances
We understand that life happens. In cases of medical emergencies, military deployment, or other significant life events that prevent you from using your subscription, we may offer extended refunds or account freezes beyond our standard policy. Contact our support team to discuss your situation.
If you experience technical issues that prevent you from accessing content for an extended period, we will work with you to resolve the issue or provide appropriate compensation, which may include extended access or partial refunds depending on the circumstances.
Refund Processing
Refunds are typically processed within 5-7 business days of approval. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment method and financial institution. Credit card refunds usually take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement. PayPal refunds are typically faster, appearing within 3-5 business days.
If you paid in a currency different from your account's default currency, the refund amount may differ slightly from the original charge due to exchange rate fluctuations. We use the current exchange rate at the time of refund processing.
Abuse of Refund Policy
We reserve the right to deny refund requests if we detect abuse of our refund policy. This includes but is not limited to: repeatedly purchasing and refunding courses to access content for free, sharing account credentials to allow others to download content before refunding, or using automated systems to exploit our guarantee.
